Hi,
Just to confirm, if you launch a game from Steam in Desktop Mode and you plug your Xbox controller to the system, you see 2 identical mouse cursors while in game, one controlled by the mouse and the other by the Xbox controller, is this correct?

Hi,
I will consult this issue with our LV3 Tech Support department and get back to you. I believe you are the first person to report this issue.

Hi,
Thanks for your patience. We are not sure what could be causing this issue. It appears to be a software problem so we recommend doing an Alien Respawn system recovery. This will restore your system to factory settings so make sure to back up for information first. Click here to view a Dell article for more information on Alien Respawn.

I am having the same problem. My controller acts like a mouse. When trying to play Payday 2 I cannot move forward or back with the left stick, it looks up and down. An identical system (Alienware Alpha Console w/I5) I purchased for my grandson (at the same time I bought mine) works perfectly. Off subject: his will work with USB headset, while mine will not. Is there a way to instruct the games to use either mouse/keyboard or Xbox controller when starting up the game? I am new to and completely unfamiliar with the Steam system and Alienware, so some of my questions may sound dumb. I have looked at the steam support site and they speak of changing source code ,etc. - I do not have that much experience with programming , so do not like the idea of messing with those areas.
Any help would be appreciated.
