CPU Fan Failure

Hey everyone! So, I've been living with a small problem of receiving an error message when I boot up my Aurora R4, saying that my CPU Fan has failed. It's been little more than an inconvenience, but I decided that I should probably ask someone about it.

It started after a bad Windows 10 update, and has lasted for roughly 7 months. I've since downgraded back to Windows 8 (and then 8.1) with the recovery discs that came with my PC, but the error is still there. Does anyone have any ideas as to what's happening?

Strange and not common.

Are all your fans and lights working? IIRC, that Motherboard Header Connector goes to MIO-Board.

Yes, it controls the fans and lights.

So, all the fans are working ... especially the one on the liquid-cooler's radiator?

Yeah, everything else seems to be working just fine. And MIO-Board? Is that the smaller one on the side?

Everything appears to be in working order.

Hi,

Make sure the CPU fan is properly connected, you can try to reset it. Or the liquid cooling pump may be damaged.
