CPU low frequency

M15x Laptop

My power cable fell out after it was tripped on. I can point to this exact time as the moment of the drop in frequency.

It is not a temperature problem as you can see. The power cable fits snugly however it doesn't clip into slot. It's not a viral problem or a BIOS issue. None of these were changed, and I have tried fiddling with the BIOS to no effect.
