Driver Power State Failure

Question

I just recieved my new Alienware Laptop M17xR3 friday and 3x now it has went to blue screen and it says i have Driver Power State Failure

what is this and can it be corrected?

I just got an M17XR3 and been experiencing the same issue. &#xa0;I've come across the blue screen of death about 6 times in as many days as I've owned it. &#xa0;I am having the same 'Driver Power State Failure' message. &#xa0;

My 17xr3 if i would close the lid sometimes what would have i would open the lid back up and the video driver would not load i would have to either restart the laptop or wait a very long time and the video driver would come back up after a while. Might be the same issue you guys hare having.

I've read in another thread and tested it myself that if you remove one of the RAM-memories, you won't get any bluescreens. Since I removed one of mine i haven't had a single bluescreen. Although I can't get my graphics to work, games or pc mark will just freeze and crash.
