For my Alienware I prefer Microsoft Office 2010 Professional?

I prefer Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus for document, picture and email using earthlink.net as my mail server for my employees. The previously working Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus is now displaying, “need to activation key.” I reenter the same key which has been working for years and receive, “invalid key.” I have several unopened Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus boxes obviously with unused keys. QUESTION: If use a key which is different, will my existing data, word, and/or email configurations be lost?
