is the graphics card in my alienware 17 upgradable?
So I have an alienware 17 with the Nvidia gtx 860m 2gb graphics card, but I want to know if I could upgrade to the gtx 880m in the future if I wanted. but I have a few questions about this, is the 860m even removable in my system or is it soldered to the motherboard? and if not will my system support the 880m card? thanks

Assuming you have an Alienware 17 and not the previous M17x version, then yes you can upgrade the graphics card very simply. Google "Alienware 17 service manual" and then download a copy OR search for an Alienware 17 graphics card removal on YouTube.
I have just purchased a new AW17 which comes with the GTX880M as standard. When it arrives I will remove the 880M and replace it with a 980M because Dell don't offer this when you are purchasing.
