lock function(fn) key

My M14x was brought in December 2011 in the US. I want to lock the function key, therefore, for example i can just press F11 for playing instead of fn+F11.

I searched a lot on Google, some people say press fn+numL or fn+shift+numL will work, but i cant find my numL key one my keyboard. Other people say press F10 when start up will go into BIOS, under the System configuration tap and DISABLE the action keys mode will reverse all the key from f1 to f12, but after press f10 i dont know how to get in system configuration tap.

can somebody pls helps me?
