Monitor Issues

Hello, I just joined because I can't seem to find the solution to my problem anywhere

I bought this Alienware 17 in HK and recently suffered the 8 beep error which indicated a LCD failure while I in England and I was notified that my warranty is valid here so I sent in a request for it to be repaired.

After a long process where they couldn't figure out what was wrong when they sent a technician over to check it and I had to send it in to the repair center twice it finally returned to me fixed.

However they gave me a display with the wrong resolution (1600x900) and they sent me a new display made by LG which had completely broken viewing angles and it is impossible to see what is being shown at the top right and bottom left hand corner of the display if the image is dark such as black.

I noticed it immediately and told the technician who notified Dell on the spot that something was wrong with the display however I just received an e-mail saying that the screen complies with the specs and that they will close the ticket as being fixed. I have replied to them with pictures of the new screen but they don't seem to want to respond.

What should I do now?

By any chance is this issue happening in an external monitor?
If you connect the computer to the 'tele' (I'm sure that's what they call it in England), perhaps.

If the display looks just as bad as it looks on the picture you attached. It's an issue with the Video Card.

If it isn't.

I would call support again and inform them that they still need to re-open your case.

I don't own a TV or any type of external monitor but I believe it is the monitor because the image is fine if you look at the screen about 45 degrees from the right but not straight on.

I did send them a e-mail but they haven't responded to it yet nor did they send a message confirming that they recieved my e-mail

Also, yes brits do call TVs teles

Just to show it doesn't just happen to black images, this is supposed to be dark purple

Have they responded yet?

If needed I can step in and ask someone from the Dell UK offices to help me out with this.
