there are no devices listed under the playback devices.
i successfully uninstalled the sound blaster program under the control panel 'remove a program', however I cannot install or download any drivers. I am getting various error messages.
No Events found!

Hi,
Try flashing the Bios to the latest version, click here for the download link. Then try reinstalling the audio driver to see if it works. Click here for audio driver download link. Let us know how it goes.
