ssd for alienware
Hi Folks,
I'm planning on adding an SSD drive to my Alienware (Alienware Area 51 R2), which came with its basic configuration, which includes a 128 GB SSD. This is a way too small HD and I want to up it a bit by getting a 1 TB disc. Could anyone give me some tips or warnings as to what will not work? Should I just go to Amazon and order any of the 1 TB SSDs listed? Will they work seamlessly with my Alienware? Thx,
Ralf

Most of this should apply to Area51-R2 running Win8.1-64

Can't go wrong with Samsung. Plus, I think Dell/Alienware is using OEM Samsung anyway.
Still seeing compatibility reports of Micron/Crucial in Dells (not sure what is up with that, but I would stay clear).
