Stuck in automatic repair loop!

Hey guys, I am stuck in automatic repair loop in BIOS and i can't even get to boot into my windows.

I do not have a recovery disc/usb as I was not given.

Last time a technician came and to restore my system back to factory setting without a disc.

May i know which key on the keyboard should i press when in the BIOS to enter the option for restoring system back to factory setting?

My OS is windows 8

Thanks in advance.

Nope, i can't. I can't get the advanced boot option up from my screen. I only can access setup(f2) and boot option(f12).

Are you able to get to the windows 8 repair? if so, can you access the Advanced options and see the availability of command prompt?

then I think you will need to make some boot disc or usb boot, I made one for myself. I'll try and find out where I got the steps from. I remember starting a windows 8 upgrade on another computer, then letting it download the OS. Though, I didn't need to "install" it, just needed to get to the point where it allows you to make restore media. It may take a while for me to find it, unless someone already knows.

you know start with the easy stuff like

sfc /scan

then start looking at other problems like bad MBR, etc...

Thanks for the link!

But right now, i do not have my windows 8's product key with me so i guess i can't use this option to restore my system back to factory settings.

My detailed situation: When booting up, it will came to this blue screen which says "your pc has ran into some problem..." Follow below is "driver verifier iomanager violation"

Then it will reboot and bring me to automatic repair page where it ask me whether to cancel it or to restore my windows back to earlier point of time. No matter which option i selected, it will bring me back to BIOS and it will stuck there forever with the word "alienware" and nothing else.

Please help if you know more options that could help me.

Thanks in advance!

If you system came with windows 8 sometimes they put a sticker on the packaging or the system itself (usually under it) with the OEM key.

You can also order a rescue disc from Dell, but they charge a fee.

Thanks alot DMPOTTER1361 for your replies!

Finally, my system was able to repair and boot into windows. From there I restore my system into factory settings.
