Stuck pixel

I recently ordered an Alie ware M11 xr3 laptop from Dell, when it arrived I turned it on to find that there was a green dot in the upper center of the screen. It overlaps everything I do, and while its more difficult to observe against light colors, most of the time it is very apparent (and both distracting and annoying). As far as I know its a stuck pixel, however I'm unsure how to remove or correct it. I've tried several programs (pixelrepairer 2.0, BadCrystalUltimate, JScreenFix), all seemingly designed to correct stuck pixels, however none of them have succeeded. What else can I do? Are there other programs that actually fix this sort of problem? For the record, I've tried several other solutions I've found online such as massaging the area of the stuck pixel with a cloth, no such method has worked so far.

Any help or suggestions regarding what to do next would be appreciated, thanks.

Keep trying the programs like pixelrepair... sometimes they work and reinstall the video driver. Sometimes a green pixel is caused by a bad video driver. If it's a true dead pixel then nothing is going to fix it. I know Dell won't replace it unless there are about 6 of them.

On the plus side if it's dead then you have something that can not be removed that can be used to identify the laptop if it is lost or stollen.

If its within a few weeks of receipt you can return it to dell for a refund.
