System Scan - Video Card - Cannot Run

Hello Everyone!

I recently got an ALIENWARE17 and every time i run the System Scan, the both video card hardware test always display the same message: "Cannot Run". Can anyone help me please to identify why is this happening and if this means that the system are not detecting them? or even a biggest problem?


I've already tried to search first some information in the forum before opening a new tread, but didn't have luck.

Hi,

This could be an issue or glitch with the Support Assist tool itself. Try running a video card stress test instead. Follow the steps below to do this.

  • Open Support Assist
  • Click on the Checkup option
  • Click run custom scan
  • Click on the Nvidia GTX 980M card
  • Select the Stress Test option

Thank you so much for your time and help

I've already try what you suggested me and still had the same problem. But then I notice a Nvidia Driver Update and after installation, the test runs without problem.  

I really appreciate your support
