Thermal Controls for Command Center?
Ello, I just solved a heating issue for my Alienware 17 laptop using the HWiNFO64 Program to control my fans.
I was looking around, and didnt see any Thermal Controls in the Alienware Command center. IF ind that odd, since there are Thermal COnrol .Dlls on the notebook, but nothing in the Command Center...
Anyone know of this issue? I dont like relying on 3rd party programs to keep my laptop cool...

There is no a thermal control in the command center since the system should manage the fans on its own. However, if HWiNFO64 is helping you to keep the system cool then you can continue to use it without a problem.

Hate to tell ya, but since i updated to teh latest BIOS, the Alienware 17 has no fan controls what so ever, causing the machine to overheat.
If it wasnt for HWiNFO64, The laptop would be unusable 100% of the time.

Done all that already. The Laptop only could come with Windows 8.1 or 8.1 Pro.
None of the fans work without HWiNFO64.
