Thunderbolt 3.0 > PCIE 4x Alienware Amplifier?
I mean, I know the current design if pcie but the new AMD/NVIDIA architecture could support full Thunderbolt 3.0 support for laptops?
PCIE 4x is 4GB/sec
Thunderbolt 3.0 is 40GB/sec ?
This Alienware 17 amazes me, because I don't use peripherals I couldn't talk about it in reviews. I got it for the 980M, 4k, Creative chipset, Killer NIC, 6th gen Intel, and nothing else.. but it's really loaded
I didn't even know USB type-c is gen 2 3.1 I thought it was 3.0

Thunderbolt 3 is fast, but it is 40gigabits, not gigabytes a second. Dividing by 8, you see that Thunderbolt is 5GB/sec.
