Alienware Alpha CPU Query
Greetings all, I've purchased the high end Alpha with the I7 chipset. My question is this: when checking the system specks in desktop mode, Windows lists the CPU speed at 2.0GHz. Is this correct? The reason I ask is because with the base model, the CPU speed listed is 2.9GHz and it seems weird that the top end model would have a lower CPU speed.
Also, has anyone else experienced loss of sound when waking the Alpha from sleep mode?

The top end with the i7-4765T will go up to 3.0 GHz and the base model with the i3-4130T will go up to 2.9GHz, remember that the processor will not be at the highest speed all time.
On regards to the sound issue you can try to uninstall the video card driver, download the latest version you find in the Dell website and reinstall it again.
Please let me know if that fixes the issue.
