13 R2, DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG error

After installing faulty BIOS 1.44 and shutting down with power button now my laptop does no longer boot into Windows and after a wait of 3 minutes it goes into a BSoD and then in a restart loop.

What's worse is that they can't offer any help because warranty is expired.

I can't even reset the SSD so I am stuck with a completely unusable laptop.

Can anyone help at all?

Hi,

Did you try reinstalling Windows 10? You can follow the steps on the link below to perform this procedure.

Dear @Alienware - Rodrigo

I am also reading all of these articles:

Dell Support Assist BIOS Update made PC Unable to Start correctly

Why is my PC dead after I installed a Dell BIOS update?

Dell Advising All Customers To Not Install Spectre BIOS Updates

As you can see it's not only my issue... is that possible that you do not offer any help at all? That sounds ridiculous!

Since all is started because of a corrupted ghost BIOS you should now solve my problem whatever it takes for you, now!

Can anyone explain me why I have been able to install Ubuntu and use my laptop without any issue at all while I can't install Windows at all?

Is Dell still trying to help their customers? @Alienware - Rodrigo any idea?

i do have exactly same problem. I have the Alienware 17 R5. The temporary fix is try Windows 10 1609, this worked for me! The downside is its pretty old version and last version to run.
