15 R2, Thunderbolt Firmware Update

I have installed the "Thunderbolt Control Driver" on my Alienware 15 R2 but I found out that the Thunderbolt NVM Firmware is version 13. So I went online and looked for the latest version from here and so I downloaded V1.0.0.8, A03. After extracting the files and double-clicking the installation file, a message popped up saying "Thunderbolt software is not installed" even though it installed.
