15 R3, battery conservation mode?

Hi! I'm using Alienware 15 R3 and I wonder if there is a mode where it automatically draw energy straight from the brick when the battery hits 100%! I constantly keep my battery plugged in, but I take my laptop out sometimes. The fact that it charges a little when losing a little energy constantly made my old battery swollen! So I'm just asking if there is any other way than manually disconnecting the battery!
