15 R3, charger?
Hi everyone
I bought a used laptop Alienware 15 R3 from eBay. Specs =
i5-6300HQ
1060
The laptop came with 90W genuine Dell charger. Is this charger OK for this 15 R3? Because I see on Dell web or other websites 180W or 240W? Should I replace this charger?

That 90W AC power adapter will not work. That AC adapter part number V3KCV was only sold with Vostro and Latitude laptops.

It will work but charge more slowly. The genuine Dell adapters here are 180W and if you type in your service tag number it will confirm compatibility. I would replace it as the specs call for 180 or 240.
