15 R3, wont boot

Question

We updated the bios and other drivers and everything was fine for a short bit. Now it wont boot. My purchased 1 year warranty expired on December 11, 2017. At first I would turn it on, the Alienware logo would light up, the blue around the power button would light for a second, then both would turn off. The fan would be running. I followed some instructions on resetting the BIOS. From what I have read, the BIOS firmware update has caused a lot of problems. Now when I first turn it on, I get 2 red, the 4 blue blinking lights. Then I get 3 red and 1 blue blinking light, which it will continue to do. The screen is always blank. I read that 3 red 1 blue indicated a bad CMOS battery.  I remove the battery and found one of the connectors was broken. I soldered it back in place, verified the 3V voltage through the connector and put it all back together. I have the same problem before. Any clues to what I can do to resolve this issue? Again, everything I have read points to a firmware update to the BIOS, but if I can't boot up, I can't update or downgrade the BIOS.

The 2,4 blink code seems to refer to the RAM. Remove all the sticks and try one at a time
