15 R4, keyboard stopped working AGAIN

Alright, this is the THIRD time that my keyboard has completely stopped working in less than 2 years. The first time was a hardware issue so I sent it in, the second time was a software issue, and now this time I suspect it is a hardware issue again. I think this because when I plug in a USB keyboard it works fine. The built in keyboard never works, and only some of the keys light up randomly and they turn on and off on their own. Of course warranty expired 5 months ago so I don’t know what to do. 

I guess my main question is, have any of the keyboards on the Alienware laptops had a recall? I’ve seen tons of posts on this forum about keyboard issues. I’ve never heard of a laptop having so many keyboard issues and it’s making me regret buying this laptop. 

When I called dell they gave me a service number and told me to expect a call back and I never got a call. When I checked the service number online it said the service issue was CLOSED even though the problem was never fixed. Now I have to call again. 

Has anyone gotten their issue fixed successfully by Dell once their warranty was expired??

(I apologize if I sound agressive, I’m just extremely frustrated with the situation and I don’t know what to do).
