15 R4, removing the overclock

So I wanted to know how can I reset the clock speeds of my gpu to the factory one instead of the clock speed that are set up by dell. My laptop gets pretty heated since my gpu goes upto 95 degrees. I heard you could do it in the bios but I looked all over the internet and still havent found a proper way.

To revert overclocking changes cimply load the delfaults in the system BIOS

  1. Press F2 while turning on the system
  2. In the BIOS go to the Press F9 to load defaults.
  3. Press F10 to save and exit.

Also if you reset the bios and want the battery to last longer,

Just disable express charge so it doesn't make the battery wear quicker.

Not sure about the BIOS but you could try to use a 3rd party program like MSI afterburner. Hopefully the sliders are unlocked for laptop GPU's. It's been a few years since I've used it.

I’d just check if the command center has no overclock to it and then I’d click the reset bios inside the bios to set everything to its defaults.
