17 R3, Upgrading RAM 4 Beeps
My 17 r3 laptop will not accept 2x16gb sticks and is only accepting one, otherwise I get the four beeps problem if I try and use both.

What make and model memory are you installing?

I bought new ram for my 17 r3 and only one of the 16 gb sticks is working, I've checked that both sticks are good and they were. The laptop just won't let me put both of them in at the same time. I've updated the bios and restarted it but I still get the 4 beeps problem.

Is it the same RAM slot that will not accept the RAM card?
Dell says RAM Configurations supported 8 GB, 12 GB, and 16 GB.
Users say get Corsair RAM for 2 x 16GB = 32GB configuration.
