17 R4, AGA, video driver gets corrupt

I have followed the directions to connect, but every time I connect to the Graphic Amplifier the Nvdia drivers get corrupt. Without the AGA it freezes at the login page. If I connect the AGA, I can log into the side with the external monitor while the laptop screen is frozen at the login screen.

If I safe boot I can do a clean install with the latest driver and it works until I reconnect with the AGA.

I have the latest drivers and bios. I have a mobile 1070 card in the laptop and a desktop 1070 in the AGA.

I found other people with similar issues but they never resolved it, https://www.dell.com/community/Alienware-General-Read-Only/Why-do-I-have-to-re-install-GPU-drivers-every-time-I-connect-or/m-p/5535518#M37467.

Any suggestions?

Make sure you get all drivers and software from Dell since those are customized for your exact model and are not the same as drivers from Nvidia. https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/alienware-17-laptop/drivers
