17 R4, BSOD errors, constant fix then BSOD repeats
It seems this BSOD is a mess. Media falls off, My C and D drive combined itself and hurled its own self into the recycle bin on a Catastrophic Error BSOD then after 10 days, it did it again but worse. This seems a considered continual problem they are well aware of but fail to have a solution but I have a few answers to get the loops stopped and bring the systems back up but I have not all the failure errors fixes. It works but it may not be a permanent solution and the diagnostics do not helps because it says (even after the 7 hour one) that all is fine but obviously if it's crashed completely all is not fine and though it seems to be a combo or hardware and software errors, it takes me personally about three days of patience and rebuild via DOS to fix it. I can help but you have to contact me because I can't write it all our and I only have about 6 errors I have fixed to date in the last month. It remains to be seen if that will happen but both mine and others in my families who have the same ones all are crashing suddenly after owning them 2 years. We can all keep rebuilding via the legacy setting and the C or E or D or whatever prompt we can get in the DOS area but you have to move to the legacy setting in bios for some of the errors then switch out of it otherwise life of that computer is over and we certainly can't authorize Dell to help when it's crashed and have no computers working in the house to contact them. Plus not all of their techs know everything. My point is that it can be a nightmare for a person not an expert in this stuff but I have been able to do it after may hundreds of hours of work each time. Sometimes it's a quick fix and sometimes no media nor any system image nor restore points are even recognizable to fix anything. So at that point you have to get that far along so it can even "read" anything that used to be there.

No replacement is being offered despite constant critical fails and catastrophic errors where apparently the C and D drive merge together and hurl itself into the recycle bin. Upon trying to fix via back door thru Legacy and DOS I have rebuilt the crashes each time taking more than three days and it is costing me a fortune as I am also working from this thing. Today it types but it isn't ok since it was dropped during a move and someone in my family bumped into me and knocked their water into it. It's constantly failing and when I try to address this they want me to send it out which is fine but the tech that came to fix my daughter's exact same computer that the technician made worse (started with a fan fix to a keyboard repair and then motherboard was replaced and now nothing works and it won't boot up but hey they want her to send it in too despite it being thrashed by their own tech). I can't work once I mail mine in and can't use hers because it's worse. I have to rebuild and clean install this constantly now but the second tech said it's my motherboard and my hardware that's the issue and that's just two of them but Dell doesn't believe me nor will they replace it yet despite having accidental damage warranties. The track record of the techs leave much to be desired and I spent a total of almost 14 hours with tech support over two days and more today trying to resolve this disaster. I cannot download one thing or it crashes. Then it is days to figure out how to try to restore and I'm not sure it will always come back so I don't have enough money yet to backup the entire system (and that system has corrupt sectors I believe and it has repartitioned itself 5 times) but I am going to do what I can and I have to backup all client files then erase them. I haven't figured out why they are trying to resurrect this creation rather than just honor a warranty and replace it if they can. I can say that this time I am so thoroughly disillusioned with Dell that I may NEVER buy a thing from them again. I spent over 10k for 2 of these and upgrades and extended warranties and what for? It's a sad statement on how inept they have come to be. Maybe I just got the four worst representatives in the countries since they seem to be all over the world and half the time they just waste my time doing what I have already done to diagnose things that are not obviously the problem. I can pretty much bet that when it got dropped that did it in. I am always so careful but it just was dropped (accidentally slipped out of hands) whilst moving it because it's so heavy and I have had 9 hand surgeries in the last year, thus it's not easy to grab stuff. I wish Dell would just have worked with me rather than play games.
