17 R4, issue with screen FX lights

Question

Hello,

I'm an owner of 2 alienware laptops. And I'm experiencing issue with screen front label "ALIENWARE" blue led on my 17 R4 that is 2 years old.

I found advise how to test the led lights by next link: dell link
When I get to step to test blue light, I see only white light on alienware label, but rest of them have blue color. How I can fix it? I know that it's not going to hurt performance of the laptop, but not working feature makes me feel upset.

UPDATE:I found that my front alien logo has same issue (6 and 7). I think that it happened after installing SSD. Can anyone tell me where is connector for screen FX LED lights? I hope that connector just get loosed.

Unfortunately, it didn;t help. Is it possible that bus connector just get loose?

I noticed that when I installed SSD. It probably might happen before, not sure when exactly it happen. It's only with blue color. When I have dim lighting mode enable, then blue color looks like white. When dim lighting mode disabled, then blue light looks less saturated compare to another blue colors.

I will try your last advise tomorrow after work and let you know.

I do not think that it is loose since it started happening after you upgraded to an SSD. Also, from what I understand, it only happens with the blue light color right or did you notice the same issue any other color? Try doing a power drain following the steps on this video.

Unfortunately, it didn't help too. Here are a photos of front label light. I don't know what else I can do.I tried to to rotate the photos, but no success, sorry :(&#xa0;&#xa0;

Hi, I have the same problem,my led strip 10 is stuck on 3colours and max brightness.. what can I do apart from power drain, reinstalling command centre and windows several times? how do I send pm here?
