17 R4, Keyboard backlight is not working

When I open up the Alienware Command Center I get a warning that comes up, "The device you have selected is included in the current theme but AlienFX cannot detect this device on your system.  Do you want to remove this device from the current theme?"

I tried the steps I found on this previous submission"

but had no luck in addressing the issue. This issue first occurred right after a Windows update and it looks like most of the other issues have been resolved; tobi, sound, etc. This issue still persists and I have not been able to address it.
