17 R4, keyboard light broken

Question

My Alienware 17 R4 keyboard light is not turning on. I test with AlienFX tester, fail at red. Is there any solution or need to replace? Thanks

Hi @Yanko007  we have 17 R5 light issue. Everything stuck in dark mode and cannot get AWCC FX or keyboard FN + F12 keys to turn them back on again.

My 17 R4 have 4 zone light in keyboard. 1 zone work fine. 2 and 3 zone is not working and 4 zone is only green light bright. I already reinstalled AWCC. Still not fix. Hope software error

Its a Hardware error. the keyboard needs to be replaced as only zone 1 works and 2,3,4 fail or just display green. Try reseating the cable that says KB_MEMBRANE or the KB_FX or something like that,
