17 R4, new power port, GeForce GTX 1070 disappeared

Alienware 17 R4

Alienware 17 R4

So, installed a new power port as the old port was bent and not giving full power. No problems on install. Restart computer, everything seems to be working fast again like I remember. Problem, tried to play some games and my graphics are extremely slow. Went into device settings and saw the NVIDIA GeForce card was hidden and inactive. Did some troubleshooting that suggested deleting the drivers and re-installing. Problem, drivers won't install as it says NVIDIA not found. Now when I get into device settings and look, the NVIDIA no longer appears at all. Anyone able to help?

Perform an RTC reset or a CMOS reset, whichever is applicable to your device.  Run a diagnostics scan and verify if the GTX card is recognized in BIOS.

Hi CrazyTed welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum. The Dell SupportAssist application should automatically find and download any missing drivers. Please open Intel Driver & Support Assistant to automatically identify your products and get driver and software updates for most of your Intel hardware.

Alienware 17 R4 Video specifications - the Integrated GPU and Discrete GPU should both be acknowledged in your BIOS Main tab. Please press both [Fn]+[F5] keys in the Windows desktop, and Restart (not Shut Down) the Alienware 17 R4 when requested. Alienware Laptop does not detect its discrete video card(s)

Please download and install the free HWiNFO64 application. System Summary will include both GPU information, toggle GPU #0 (iGPU) or GPU #1 (dGPU) beneath the GPU icon.
