17 R4, screen freeze using Apple Thunderbolt display

I don’t known di eventually you have solved the issue but I started to face the same issue everytime I try to connect the laptop to external Apple thunderbolt display using the usb-c to thunderbolt adapter on the laptop. Any idea? Tx

Replacing the ram is needed if it was a real positive but sometimes it isn’t a positive.

my 17 R4 had a CPU failure and since the cpu is soldered on well,

you get the point.

So as I was repeatedly trying to turn it back on and plugged it into a wall it finally turned on and I basically had a heart attack because of how scared I was for my laptop.

thats why I stopped Overclocking that laptop to prevent further damage if it was a real positive.
