17 R4, USA to India, multiple issues

I bought Alienware 17 R4 from US and imported it to India, on initial start it was reaching more then 90C even in normal gaming. i asked there customer care about the same they told me that its the expected behavior. if there would be any issue with the system due to its overheating, it would get shutdown automatically as per the design. This is because of the safety issues. so i used the system as it is. i am fool i know.

after some months it started showing other issues as well. so i asked one of the dell technician that come to my office about the system, he told me to call the customer care and you need to convince them.

now i have to convince them that it not working as expected so i shared some YouTube videos and my systems thermals, so for unigine Heaven Benchmark tool for 10 minutes run, thermal are like CPU: 93C, GPU: 90C

they also told me to apply for ownership transfer as the system is still showing warranty from US.

when i asked them i have already applied for the ownership transfer when i brought it to India, they replied there was no form filled online for the ownership transfer of your system.

so i have to do it again and again, after like 5th try they accepted the request.

in-between this my motherboard fried up, now i cannot boot up my system. i asked them to replace the whole laptop and give me a new one with the same specs, since the issue was from the very beginning, they refused saying the time frame in that can happen is expired, i asked them to replace every part of the system as they might have affected from the overheating, so they did that.

I started that service request on Jan 2019 and got it resolved on march 2019. Now February 2020 it again started overheating, i raised support case for the same, this time i am getting number of steps to perform.

1st mail: install some specific version of BIOS and Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Driver
2nd mail: Change settings in BIOS and Run Optimize in Support Assist.
3rd mail: Update Nvidia drivers, Set Nvidia to high performance, Change setting through NVIDIA Control Panel or Geforce Experience, Check if there is any windows update available.

it feels like they are testing my patience, so i asked them to send me all the steps together. they agreed to call me on next Sunday have a remote diagnosis done. In which they found there is some issue with the thermals.
he told be to get a good thermal paste, i bought Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Liquid Metal Paste.

funny thing is, in between this some other support guy replied to me "as per the result you have shared system Temp. seems in acceptable limits.". and the support guy whom i was talking to already told me there was some issue with the system. since there is more then 10C difference in cores temperature.

Now they send technician to replace motherboard and heatsink, I specifically told them to send a technician who has experience in using liquid metal thermal paste, the guy who came to replace the motherboard. He was so he opened the 1800 rupee ($24) LM in his hands, even though I asked him if he doesn't know we can take help from YouTube.

he used pie method for applying the thermal paste, which fried up the motherboard, now it not even booting up, the technician connected to dell customer support and told them what he has done,

Now they told me they will again send a new motherboard and again i told them to send a technician who has experience in using liquid metal thermal paste, now the next technician doesn’t know anything about Liquid metal paste so we took help from YouTube and applied the liquid metal paste. Now everything is working if I disable the GPU from the device manager, and the moment I enable it, the system goes to BIOS dump with error VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR.

and now as we are stuck with this corono virus pendemic, they cannot send technician to my place as it lockdown, so i again asked them to replace the whole system with the new one same spec nothing extra, this time they said we cannot replace the system that is bought from US, its company policy.

And also i asked them to pause my warranty as you cannot service this in this time. they refused
