17 R5, AWCC not working, #5
hi community ! hi everybody !
im a second hand of these 17 r5 i7 8500h,i was happy buying it because im i big fan ,but alienware control center doesnt work for me.
when double clicking on it it works for 3 or4 seconds and then its gone suddenly ! its makes me crazy and sad .
so pleas its killing me,3 days and nights trying solving it by myself with all what i know and what i found in dell support site.

Please uninstall and reinstall the AWCC using the steps in link below:

Also, use Revo Uninstaller (free version)to delete all the leftover AWCC and OC controls registry

If the above step doesn't work:
Run the System Restore tool on computer to see if you're able to go back to the time Alienware control center work for you.

Note: System Restore does not affect any of your documents, pictures, or other personal data. Recently installed programs and drivers might be uninstalled.

I had the same issues on a brand new computer. I had to de-install windows. It seems very random if this method works or not... I spent alot of time with support before i finally reinstalled again and then it worked.
Now i dont dare to update or anything since its actually working. Seems like a general problem.
