17 R5, AWCC, Overclock commands
i am not seeking any help i will just say something about my topic,every time i have update on Alienware R5 CC/OC nothing work,i mean i try all posible soution to fix it and i did but I must do it every time when update happens and problem is with everything FX lights not working,app crashing when u wanna save profile and OC commands dont work i cant update to latest version coz nothing works specaly OC controls that i cant have updated OC,i am running right now latest update ACC but i cant run latest OC coz nothing works then i must use old version form November 15/2018 and eveything is working normaly, yeah and one more thing my AV Avast marked SETUP.EXE as VIRUS! Thats sad when u pay $3800 for laptop and u have to deal with problems like this running outdated app ,expiriance crashes,cant save profiles,Fx light dont work,false virus alert...

maybe this help u to install OC(overclock commands) u must first uninstall old version and then install new latest if u dont uninstall old u will get error and u cant install OC that happen to me so when u install OC dont forget u restar ur laptop.U dont need to uninstall AW CC only OC and install latest version... also check on Google that error ull see what else u can do maybe u find something.

I am experiencing the same issue. I have tried my best to install AW OC but window will not let me install. I get error 0x80070643 all the time. The videos that are there to help reinstall the software are 3 years old and not very helpful now.
