17 R5, backspace key not working

Hello all,

First post, please be gentle. My 17 R5 laptop (warranty expired on June 18, 2019) has an issue with one, single key. The "backspace" key. It is difficult to press, and when I try to press it, I have to press it multiple times in multiple ways to get it to work, very hard. I have tried compressed air, no dice. The keys are so tight, I would be unable to get a paintbrush in there to clean it manually, as I've read in many other posts. I just want to be able to use it when I type emails and posts.
