17 R5, battery replacement issue

Please create Battery Report to see if OEM Dell Battery vendor has provided the new Alienware battery order. The battery must have a valid white label that includes D/PN (68Wh D/PN = 44T2R or 99Wh DP/N = 9NJM1) and beneath the square matrix the year/month date must be less than six months. 

Ordering the new OEM battery replacement on Amazon, gives additional protection.

I cannot create a battery report, because the laptop will not turn on while the battery is connected.

The battery is a 44T2R and I can find no date on the battery.

Please contact OEM Dell Battery vendor with clarification that this battery with no white label, is dead out-of-the box and request a battery that works, has not been used and is less than six months old.

If OEM Dell Battery vendor refuses to supply new replacement battery or full refund, be prepared to report this fraud and request refund to your card/bank provider. This battery is not as ordered, vendor is legally obliged to pay for its return and safe disposal. It is not acceptable for vendor to get you to arrange and pay for safe disposal of this dead battery.

Here’s a replacement one that actually matches a real OEM battery tag but also where did the OEM Battery come from.

This battery image has no white label and getting a good OEM replacement is increasingly difficult.  Amazon link says, Currently unavailable: We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.

Very odd? Part numbers 44T2R and 9NJM1 do not appear in our parts tool?

Agreed that parts-people shows part numbers 44T2R and 9NJM1. But Dell cannot know where they got those numbers.

Those two part numbers do not appear in the Dell SPMD (Spare Parts Master Database) regions = Americas, AP (Asia Pacific), China, EMEA (Europe/Middle East/Asia).
