17 R5, connected but cannot login to anything
Hello, I'm turning to you guys as a last resort before i have to bring my Alienware 17 R5 to the shop.
A few weeks ago this issue came up where I couldn't login to anything like gmail, reddit, steam, etc; however I was still able to browse the web and watch videos. When i try to login on firefox I get BAD_MAC_ALERT error and every other browser just doesn't respond.
So far I've done every troubleshooting tip i could find online and haven't found the solution. This includes:
-Updating time and date
-disable/enable tls keys (pretty much everything that could be done in the browser)
-Uninstalled/reinstalled wifi drivers
-tried updating various things
-Reimaged the machine (this works, but only for a few days and then the issue returns at which point i have to reimage)
-Freshly installed another ISO from windows media creator
-Tested on can youseeme.org to which it showed there was an issue with SSL and port 443 sending and receiving encrypted data
-and of course I set it to Wumbo
I'm out of ideas and appreciate any and all help.
