17 R5, Killer 1650 WiFi Antenna Cables
I have a Dell Alienware 17 R5 and when in the process of upgrading my WiFi card to the Killer 1650 card the Antenna cables were broken. I was wondering if you sold or know of another outlet that sold the antenna cables?

If you can find the replacement antenna cables in the link above then it's just a matter of removing the display assembly and then the display panel. The antenna cables run up behind the panel and stick up on the top of the display lid.

How are the cables broken? Usually its the small antenna jacks on the wifi card that get snapped off. The cables usually go up into the display assembly. I can't picture how they would break unless they are cut. If the cable is cut then you should be able to spice them back together.
Any chance of posting a picture?

When I went to disconnect the cable, the connecter crumbled in my hand. The connector broke.

Thanks, that looks like the correct cable, and I ordered it.

Hi @Carlos Piccoli welcome to this user to user discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.
The antennas run from WiFi card inside the laptop base and up into the lid, to adhere to the foil on its internal surface. The replacement options are to:-
(1) take apart most of the laptop to install replacement cable assembly, and damaging other parts such as the screen.
(2) replace just the antenna connector to the WiFi card, usually by getting replacement antenna cable, cutting off a length and attaching it to the original cable by soldering or a suitable bridging connector.
(3) connect WiFi station to the RJ45 network/ethernet socket when on ac adapter power and used in Desktop mode.
(4) connect WiFi adapter to USB socket when on battery power and used in Laptop mode.

The guy in the linked video shows how to completely pull the display out of the lid.
