17 R5, why does it install that Killer app itself? Unable to delete!
Alienware 17 R5
Hello, I am really frustrated so finally decided to come here. My Alienware 17 R5 (out of warranty June 2019) started to install some app to apparently improve online gaming performance or something like that, named Killer, since last year. This app somehow blocks me off websites that I login (all of them), the browsers (I tried multiple) give an error saying the website's license problem. But when I connect ethernet there is no problem with the same websites so I can login. I was going to send my laptop to repair then I found this Killer app, uninstalled and problem solved. Then the updater installed it again, without my consent, somehow we took it off again. Lately I complained to Alienware updater app, now it asks me to update finally I see yes/no and choose no, still somehow it installed that Killer app yesterday again! I DO NOT WANT IT!! I cannot delete its folders and it says you need permission from 'SYSTEM' and later on another file of Killer app said you need permission from 'TrustedInstaller'. I need PERMISSION from something/someone to delete an app that only causes me problem on my OWN laptop? I cannot disable this Alienware updater, trying to currently delete it too, causes nothing but problems. I love Alienware but this is super annoying! I am unable to use wifi freely on my own laptop. Why this Killer acts like a malware?

It's not Killer, it's the Alienware Updater that is causing the problem. This support page has information on uninstalling it and go to Task Manager/Startup tab and disable the updater.
