AlienFX not detected after update

So I own a aw958 mouse and a aw768 keyboard and as of yesterday the FX settings worked fine. But this morning I was notified of a update and after installing the update now the Command Center doesn't detect my devices. I've tried the following: restarting the computer, restarting the command center, uninstalling then reinstalling the command center, end all things related to alienware in task manager and relaunch it, I've unplugged the mouse and keyboard and plugged them back in, I've removed the devices from the "printers and device settings" and set them up again. The odd thing is the keyboard remembers the color I had it on before (green) when the mouse on the other hand reverted back the the rainbow RGB setting. Any ideas?
