Alienware 17 R4 Wifi not working
Hi Everyone,
I received my Alienware 17 laptop today and the Killer Wifi had issues out of the box. When I would visit any website that required sign in functionality, I would get a page not found error or temporary unavailable or time out error.
To resolve the issue, the dell support requested me to uninstall the killer wifi drivers. But, be aware, I kindly told the tech support guy that we probably should download the replacements 1st. They agreed that would be a good idea. I would say I dodged a bullet there because I have no ethernet cable for my laptop.
After uninstalling the wifi drivers and re-installing the Killer control center and killer ethernet(dell site), I am back up and running. I thought i'd share this solution just in case others see this on their new laptops.
