Alienware 17 R5 keyboard/mouse issue

I just bought a alienware 17 r5 secondhand and I'm having some issues. The left and up arrow keys seem to register phantom key presses as the system heats up (the hotter it gets the more often it happens.) I've verified it is a problem with the built-in keyboard as when I use an usb keyboard it does not happen. Do I need to replace the keyboard itself? Would that fix the problem? I have removed tobii eye tracking from my laptop as I thought that was problem but that did not fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

Currently running ePSA extended test. Have estimated 3 hours and 22 minutes of test left.

Click the F12 key repeatedly until you see a blue screen with white text options.

click ePSA Diagnostics or simply ePSA.

Run the Test or go search keyboard tester online.

More than likely the keyboard. Have you tried to run a diagnostic test yet to see if problems show up? That would be at the Alien logo start tapping F12. Run full diagnostics and watch for keyboard errors.

Finished tests- everything came up green. Think I may have fixed it though- I re-ran the 1.8.1 bios update and set a manual fan curve and it seems to have fixed problem but only time will tell. Thanks everybody!
