This is a tech support forum and I would suggest you try posting here in the Customer Care forum. There are moderators and support people that can help you contact the correct  folks that can help out and make sure you get warranty support on the mouse.

Hi @IcePanGrizzly  welcome to this user to user discussion forum. This is not Dell Support. 

Please contact Dell Product Support, as you have previously done, and tell why these items have been rejected. Request a new free replacement 610M or full refund. If asked to return rejected items, say they are required to pay and arrange for collection of the rejected items. You should not be asked to pay for return of these clearly "not fit for purpose" items.
