Alienware m15 - Boot failure on device. M.2 SSD Not Installed
A few weeks ago my one month old Alienware m15 suddenly flashed a blue screen and it won't boot ever since. Every time after pressing power on button it shows SupportAssist's white screen with "Boot failure on device" written on it. I run hardwire diagnosis and apparently it doesn't see the pre-installed M.2 SSD, on which Windows 10 was located. It shows "Not Installed" for both M.2 SSD Card slots. I tried switching the SSD to other slot but it didn't help. Does it mean that the SSD is broken? Can anything be done to make it work?

Possible that the SSD is bad but after 1 month not likely. Have you accessed the BIOS (F2 at the Dell splash screen on startup) to see if the drives are detected. Also make sure in the BIOS that Attempt Legacy Boot is disabled. In the end it is possible that either the SSD or the Motherboard are defective and since the system is new you could call Dell tech support for your region and they can diagnose the problem.
