Alienware system discount

Question

Hey I read numerous guys on facebook telling they get discount codes working for ANY products, yet still I got a 10% subscribe code that isnt working for the alienware product I want...

How in the world do ou manage to get discount codes??/ Also I hear many guys telling they receive discount on their systems through phone....

I was never able to manage a better price by chat....

We are all users here in the forum. Any discounts should come directly from Dell. Those coupon sites might be spreading malware.

Ye I am not using any 3rd party site, I just try to get a coupon from Dell official representatives because its unfair to give discounts from phone and not from chat...

I read numerous stories about people getting coupons for their new systems.

As with anything, manufacturers will only discount when they have to -- and since notebooks (more specifically, components needed to build notebooks) are in short supply, there's little or no incentive for manufacturers to provide discounts. For every buyer waiting for a coupon code, there are multiple buyers lined up paying full price.

The market for notebooks -- particularly those using higher end gaming GPUs -- is a seller's dream right now, and a buyer's nightmare. That looks like it won't change until 2022 at the earliest.
