Interestingly, most of the newer Alienware notebooks are built by Compal -- one of MSI's biggest suppliers as well.

All notebooks, regardless of the name on the outside, are built by the same manufacturers - Quanta, Compal, Pegatron, Wistron and a couple of others (Foxconn, Inventec).

There's very little difference, regardless of the name on the outside of the system.

Really? A very little difference? Yeah you bet it's tiny as a rabbit. Tell that to my dead Titan X after 4 years. A PNY Titan X they sold to me at the same price of Asus Titan X. In the options I select, it wasn't stated as PNY otherwise I would have never buy it. but since the price tag were matching the Asus, I thought it's Asus, at least MSI. Never thought they were doing this as a marketing trick to fool people and then sending them a cheap <deleted profanity> low quality short life spawn gpu that costs 2/3 of the price I paid.

You bet there's a little difference. Same difference that they sent a so cheap M2 SSD at the same price of a SATA 3 SSD but runs at 1/5 speed of SATA 3 SSD. And I don't give much life span to cpu and ram either. They will just die very soon too.

Bruh what are you talking about?

i have an Alienware 18,17,15,13 and the m14x that are close to 6 years old now. They still work.

If you want to get a better ssd, buy this one if your so smart to say that a little ssd makes a laptop the worst product on the market huh.

A little ssd that works like an absolute <deleted profanity> makes it worst "SSD" product that Alienware "uses" in their laptops. You get it now?

A stupid PNY brand gpu that is so cheap and low quality which is died after 4 years makes it the worst or one of the worst gpu product in the market and Alienware uses it in their computers and SELL THEM AT THE ASUS GPU PRICES!

Oh and. I barely bought a 1650 Super just yesterday and now it's not working. Guess what. Your beloved Alienware forgot to make it compatible with their useless graphics amplifier.

and I can't find any of these in my country.

Why would you even you a ssd as a backup?

You should use a hard drive. -  ssds have a limited read and write speed and constantly overwriting that much data constantly you used up the blocks the ssd will get slower.  Most ssds have over provisioning for that reason. But in this case it should be obvious why it failed. You should do some learning on how ssds work, next time use a hdd for a back up.  Also side note next time use up to 80% capacity of your ssd to help make it longer.  If you using it for back ups then doesn't matter since your going to destroy its lifespan.  Buy more storage then needed.

Maybe your Gpu is defective unless you overclocked it wrong.

There should be a 1 year manufacture warranty.

Why I use SSD for backup? Why ever I <deleted profanity> like.

That wasn't the reason why it failed, it was sent failed. The first time I noticed it wasn't while I was backing up. It was I was restoring my backup from external hard drive. I have 13 Mbps download speed so I was copied my modded Skyrim from old laptop to an external hdd. Then while I was copying the game to my SSD, my pc slowed down to turtle speed after 4-5 GB give or take.

The sata 3 ssd I bought however has no slow down at all after I made many backups and restores.

But the ssd is not the problem in here. The problem is my entire pc is malfunctioning and very soon after it will just die off already and I still couldn't figure out what the <deleted profanity> is wrong with it. I dont understand why no NVidia gpu making my games crash.

It was just 1 moment my game crashed and after that everything started falling apart like domino. Now I reinstalled the windows again, but now this time I can install the driver for Titan X. However the second I press the Drivers tab on GeForce Experience my pc goes to bluescreen :@ and I'm really in the brink of a moment to smash this entire thing with 10 meters long huge russian hammer.

And to everyone who wants to comment after this. Stop blaming me with things that were faulty from the beginning and stop being <deleted attacking statement>. If you have a solution for my problem, than say it. I am open to every suggestion that might be a solution. But stop coming here and throwing me meaningless useless empty words. Yes some of you have as well that works great for you. Well so congratulations. Great. GOOD FOR YOU. VOILA. BUT MINE IS ROYALLY <deleted profanity> ENTIRE HARDWARE IS CRASHING SO I NEED A SOLUTION ON HOW TO FIX THIS, NOT HOW YOUR EXPERIENCE GOING JUST FINE.

I didn't even touch any of it's settings except turning of in-game overlay from geforce experience. But I will tell you something even more crazier.

I said <deleted profanity> it to this stupid Titan X and just pulled out the cable of graphics amplifier. and then installed the 980m drivers after I cleaned up <deleted profanityfrom NVidia with Display Driver Uninstaller.

Guess what happened? It installed properly but the games are still crashing on launch. All of them. If I disable 980m from device manager, they launch normally with Intel gpu. At the cost of having less than 15 fps. but both desktop and laptop gpu I have causing crashing issues.

I thought maybe I have a corrupt system file and reinstalled my whole Windows. Downloaded the games again and guess what? Same exact problem.

So yeah. I guess it's not just my external titan x or graphics amplifier. My pc is royally. All thanks to <deleted profanity> Alienware who uses worst of the worst hardware in their computers.

Here’s all the stuff you’ll need:

Samsung 970 Evo:

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-970-EVO-1TB-MZ-V7E1T0BW/dp/B07BN217QG/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=970+evo&qid=1595095889&sr=8-3

Alienware BIOS Update:

I can’t post it if I can’t find out your model.

Nividia GeForce Experience:

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/

Now can we make the conversation calm again instead of fighting with each other?

I never said anywhere that I was an expert either.
