Area-51m, Intel Optane memory pinning
Hello all,
I would like to get a solution to this error on Windows 10 with version 1903:
Intel Optane(tm) Memory Pinning : can not load the file DLL ´iaStorAfsServiceApi.dll´ : Can not find the specified module. ( Exception HRESULT : 0x8007007E).
Any help ?
Thanks !
Salvador

Are you sure this doesn't disable some hardware (eg the SSD)?

Thanks so much for sharing this fix. Tried to do the repair by downloading it from Dell - didn't work. Uninstall worked perfectly.

I had the same error. Instead of uninstalling the "Intel Optane Pinning Explorer Extensions" under "Add and Remove Programs," I just did a "Modify." After that I could right-click any folder without a problem. I rebooted anyway and still no problems. As an alternative I might have reinstalled this Intel driver, and maybe others, using the download from the Dell website for my service tag.

Thank you.

to mister @Perfectcritic
i have the same exact issue over here, but what if your solution doesn't work? I mean, if i uninstall the Intel Optane Extensions, and it turns out that the problem isn't there, will there be any other new issues for that matter?

There is an Issue with 1903 and INTEL RST.

@oceoksagi
As far as this issue is concerned if your laptop or desktop device components doesn't support Intel Octane Memory and you are facing the issue as I mentioned here then uninstalling will get rid of the issue. There should not be any issue with Intel memory optanes if you have downloaded Windows 10, version 1903 update

Hi, I had exactly the same problem after updating of the last Dell drivers. Now I have removed the Intel Optane app, which was installed with the same date and time as the driver and and my system works OK.
Your advice helped me a lot. Great! Many thanks
