Area-51m, problems with CPU OC

Ok, so LTT decided to see if they could water cool the new Area-51m CPU and GPU, using an external radiator. Overclocking the GPU appeared to be a breeze, though they encountered significant issues trying to overclock the CPU:

Hardware Support can view the whole video if they wish, though the segment I've highlighted is the purpose of this thread (from 10:35 to 15:36).  It indicates that, due to a bug with the Alienware Extreme Tuning tool, neither the last BIOS update, nor the current one, allows changes to be applied to CPU cores.  Instead the software asks for a reboot, and then resets all settings back to Factory Defaults, even if the cores are underclocked...

Perhaps you guys can check if this is happening on "un-modified" SKUs?  If it is, then the BIOS might need another update, or perhaps the tuning software is not working properly.
