Area-51m R1, update services is not running properly

How can I solve this ?

One of the update services is not running properly, but you can try to run a troubleshooter to fix the problem. Go to Start button > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot, and then select Windows Update.

Hi,

I would suggest you to follow the steps and and check if it helps.

Method 1: Run Windows Update troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Method 2: Restart the Windows Update service and check if it helps.

a)      Click on Start, type in services.msc in the search box and open it.
b)      Select Windows Update from the list, double click on it.
c)      Change the startup type to Automatic
d)      Click on Start button, (if the start button is not highlighted click on Stop and then click on Start)
e)      Click on Apply, Ok.

f)       Do the same steps for Cryptographic Services and Background Intelligent Transfer Service.

g)      Restart your computer.

Method 3: If the issue still persists, reset Windows update components and then check if it helps.

How do I reset Windows Update components?

Hi @ehabaziz2001  use your local admin account to open troubleshoot, or type in your admin password when prompted, if using a standard user account. Select the troubleshoot options and select the one that is specific to resolving this problem.

The Restart option is used to save changes that you make to the operating system. Shut Down will not save changes that you make to the Operating System. Windows Update is designed to save changes to the Operating System without your intervention.

Hi @ehabaziz2001  try the options in Troubleshoot Windows Update

When Windows systems files have been corrupted, run the all powerful check disk. (This PC > right click OS (C:) drive and select Properties > click on Tools tab > start Error checking. Another window appears, click on Scan drive.)
