Do you actually need that business software? Try removing the reference to it in Settings, Apps, Startup so it does not start at every boot--check for other items that should not run. It also might not be for Windows 11. See this-- Dell Update and Alienware Update | Dell US

Hi @gibbylinks welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.

Please see if this simple fix works. Undertake the change to the operating system, and then Restart (not Shut Down) to save this change. When system boots, windows will install a different change, so Restart (not Shut Down) to save this change. Thereafter, you should not have to do this manual change again.

Business software? It was installed when I bought the laptop. I've uninstalled the app (Using Revo) and reinstalled with no change.

No changes are kept after restart., and service returns to not starting.

Hi @gibbylinks thank you for sharing update.

Could be a Windows 11 incompatibility? Please run Windows Reliability Monitor to see if Area-51m R2 has acknowledged there is a software problem. How to use Windows Reliability Monitor to identify software issues | Dell US
